    I agree and that’s the argument I made with Corporate when I made the complaint. Their counter was the 50/50. Better to take that than push it and have them retract the offer. It did leave a bad taste in my mouth.

    Those ruts in the yard would bother more than the price tag and that price tag wouldn't bring a smile to my face. :laugh:

    Did @hiPSI make that table?:confused::confused::confused:

    Well said, and I've learned a lot this year helping in the dugout. My son has also had a lot thrown on him, he played 1st a lot this spring and now he's playing 1st, 3rd, and pitching. He's had to take a lot in and still learns every game. I tell him after each game the mistakes he made, don't harp on them, learn and grow from them.

    I understand. My post was more to offer you support, certainly not criticism of you, just the dealership and Toyota.

    Looking back, playing 1st and pitching as an 11 and 12 year old were some of the best times of my life. They dont let the schlubs pitch and play 1st and 3rd. Cole must be doing some good things.

    He has really started doing good in the last year, something has clicked with him and baseball. He doesn't care if they win or lose, he just wants to play :thumbsup:

    He hit one to opposite field last night and he trotted down to 1st, the kid couldn't get to it and it went almost all the way to the fence. He wound up on 3rd, we told him had he ran full tilt he could have got home.

    One of the toughest things to do in youth sports is coach your own child. You have my respect for stepping up instead of sitting down and offering criticism of the coaches, players and umpires. When I coach I set up rules for group discussions and then try to follow those guidelines myself when I talk to any player, including my own if I am coaching them. These are the guidelines I set-up for the team.

    *We always talk about what we did well before we talk about what we need to improve upon.
    *When talking about what we did well it is ok to mention teammates by name.
    *After we have discussed what we did well then we can talk about what we need to improve upon as a team. I deliberately do not say, "Things we did wrong."
    *When talking about things we need to improve upon we talk about what the teams need to improve upon, we do not mention specific players.

    The hardest skill to teach in youth sports is confidence, but it is the easiest skill to lose and the most important skill to have. The old school coaching philosophy has the coach waiting for an athlete to make a mistake then pointing out how to do it right. I challenge the coaches I train to give athletes enough repetitions to either get it right or get it close to right then reinforce what they did well. Or I tell them to praise a team member who is getting it right loud enough for the kid getting it wrong to hear. They will learn how to complete the skill or task without feeling badly about how they did. And of course this comes with the caveat that it is not possible to do this 100% of the time. You will always have to work with some athletes some of the time and talk to them about how to complete a skill correctly.

    One other note that might help you. Often kids look up to professional athletes with the problem being they like to emulate their success but they are world class athletes so that is tough or impossible. I point out to youth baseball players that batters fail 7 out of 10 times they come to bat if they are one of the BEST players and they make millions doing it so don't be too tough on yourself.

    It was actually for ventilation. The front cowl also served this purpose. There were floor vents on driver and passenger sides which typically also passed air through the rockers to dry them out. Unfortunately the designs didn’t stop debris from ending up in there and rotting it all out.

    I remember the side/floor vents. My first truck was a 1978 Chevy, it had the triangle windows.

    Totally concur. I pitched up through high school until I tore my rotator cuff. I played almost 10 years, always as a pitcher and sometime 1st baseman. Left hand lol. Lots of strange rules.
    When I was pitching, it was like I had multiple personalities. I would talk to myself so much! Did I know the batter, what's the count, what are his tendencies, where are we in the inning, where were base runners, were they fast, why is catcher calling for that stupid pitch, how good is my control tonight, was my arm hurting, that hot girl in the stands, check hands for sweat, rosin bag, dig hole better in front of rubber, check 3rd, check 1st, check 2nd, all my players where they are supposed to be, and wind up and pitch! Foul! Then go through that same thing again.

    Between the iron seat and lug tread tires that doesn't look like a comfortable ride.
