    moron report time
    so a couple weeks ago i went over my supervisor's head and went to the owner. said this is BS and moron doesn't know what he's doing. moron won't listen to me and i've tried numerous times to explain to him that things just arent working. we are in a serious clusterfuck of problems - behind schedule, pissed off customers, tons of mistakes - and they're all tied to moron. i said we either change things and i get to do my job the way i know how or i quit.

    so owner wanted to meet with me and moron, work things out.

    i've started doing things my way and ignoring my boss. spending an average of 40% less time on projects doing it my way, without his "help". kinda makes me even more pissed off to know that i've wasted 40% of my life for the past year. but at least i'm making progress now and getting things back on track.

    I hope you win this one. I’ve had bosses so bad I had to get lawyers involved. Working for a quality organization makes all the difference. Most of us don’t mind the work we do. It’s the unnecessary terribleness of management that so often ruins it. I’m lucky to work with a great team, but I know what it’s like to work in a bad one.

    Exactly. I’ve always said that who you work for and who you work with are extremely important. I’ve worked for some great managers and with some great people and I have worked for some terrible managers and with terrible people.
