Finally made it out!

Tacoma did okay pulling the camper about 60 miles. Anti Sway helps. These damn mirror strap ons shake like crazy so need to revisit that. But otherwise all is good. Truck get's compliments everywhere I go.

Haven’t had anything to post about in here for awhile. Finally lifted it. Full OME 887 (2”) and leaf pack (2.5”) suspension kit.

Just need some bigger tires but I don’t mind the stock ones too bad at the moment. Just happy to have it lifted finally. Ride is great too. Stiffer than stock OR Bilsteins but not as tight as the TRD lift. Running over bumps is still a breeze.

 

Maybe the birds at work thought my truck was a patch of grass. Both cars parked next to me had 1-2, meanwhile I got all this...

 

I've only had my AG Taco for about two months, and it's been the recipient of bird turds at least once a week. I think birds love shitting on Tacomas in general, my red truck was a popular target as well. I caught this one on the road, thought a rock had hit it at first.

 

Keeping it Army green related though, here are a few small things I've done with mine.

 

I absolutely despise birds for exactly this reason. Useless animals

Coming over from the Tundra world and forum. Bought this 2021 from Copart with 27k miles. Always loved the look of the access cab and army green.

Pretty easy fix on the front end. No structural/frame damage. Main expense is the airbags. About $2,500 worth. Just waiting on some parts right now before putting it back together.

 

Well, I finally got around to a few tweaks. Installed the trail edition grill and smoked LED fogs from the 4runner. Also added LED headlight bulbs. It’s subtle but nice.

 

Wife parked next to a ELM the other day and sent me a pic - I have taught her well

 

Installed my rear bumper. Just figuring out paint for the glass and then I’ll be back in the army green crew, white and green gang isn’t as cool.
