    Was a busy one for me, I was cutting back some youpon bushes that are trying to take over then took care of some stuff around the house in preparation of the disturbance they are watching in the Gulf. Looks like it’s just going to be a rain maker now

    Good morning Mark, have a great Friday eve!

    Yep, truck is back :yes: It has a complete new master cylinder and hydro solenoid installed. I wondered if Toyota would try to cobble it together from new and old parts so I marked everything that appeared to be a separate component with a paint pen. I’m glad to say it’s a brand new, complete assembly. It also ended up being a litter cheaper that they first told me, still cost over $900 though :annoyed: I’m glad to have this over.

    Immediate observations after getting in the truck, brake pedal seems about 1/2” higher from the floor per my foot memory as I move over to it from the gas pedal. The modulation feels way different than it did before I noticed the leak, much firmer feel to the pedal. I don’t know if that’s for real or just my mind playing tricks on me. I now wonder how long the problem was actually going on before I saw signs.

    I'm looking forward to taking it for a good drive if the rain will stop.
