Good morning everyone, it’s Friday, time to have a great and blessed day.

 

Farmer friend of mine called me and said come by and get some sweet taters, he also gave me this death trap chainsaw with the ole manual oiler and no safety bar.

 

I like them baked like a potato. With butter and black pepper. Chainsaw looks sketchy

 

Last day in CR. We're back in the San Jose area where we were sweating buckets when we arrived. Since being on the Caribbean coast, coming back here now feels refreshing. I actually wore jeans yesterday. Speaking of refreshing, in 36 hours home will be about 40F cooler than here, or almost 60F cooler than the coast.

A belated good morning to all

 

If it makes you feel any better, I'm working on catching up from being out sick the last 2 days. No full-on fires but there is smoldering.

 

Boss man is vapor and I'm having vision problems, cant see myself staying much past lunch.

 

Power everything, unless I can shave off cost by opting out of fancy features. I'd take a brand new 2024 Tacoma with just cameras and manual locks/seats/windows. I don't need heated seats or steering wheels either. No lane departure nonsense or sensors or adaptive cruise or any of that. Even manual lights and wipers. Knock a good chunk off the price and we'll call it a day!

Too bad they don't A-la-carte vehicles so you can get the fancy engines or features without raising the price on things you don't need/want.

 

My boss is gone today. Good Friday.

My coworker, I do not understand that man.

His motorcycle was stolen a few weeks ago from his yard. He took today off, he just came by in a U-Haul pickup to borrow the loading ramps.

He bought another motorcycle off eBay and is going to Alabama to get it.

There are hundreds of motorcycles for sale on the local classifieds

 

The heart wants what it wants.....

 

Good thing is boss man is also in the woods, just different woods. I'm headed that way shortly.

Booster return was staggered much more than I’ve seen before…just spectacular…

 

Don’t know, I know he talked to his insurance but he may have only had the cheapest thing he could get and it may not have covered theft.

It’s hard to get the truth out of him sometimes.

 

Baseball last night we played the best team, beat them 12-10. Cole got a double play at first, caught a pop and tagged the bag cause the guy had already taken off to steal.

The coach on the other team made everyone mad. Cole hit a blooper to the pitcher, pitcher over threw it so Cole went to 2nd, 1st over threw it to 2nd so Cole went to 3rd. Coach said throw the ball away so he can go home. Kid with the ball looked at him, he said throw it away. Kid threw it, Cole scored.

Everyone was mad at the coach for that.

 

Afternoon all got to sleep in went to the dump with the kiddos and now to the barn to clean up

 

Have that same saw it is a beast and quite collectible, may be able to sell it on the old eBay

 

My wife ask what I was going to do with it, I said I’m gonna put it in the shop and not use it. The guy who gave it to me is a good friend, I’ll keep it to remember him by since we moved and I don’t see him much
