:rofl:Sometimes immaturity is not determined by age! Quite the role model there. I once witnessed a youth softball game in which the players were probably around 10 years old. Batter hits a high pop up to 2nd and the girl playing second circles underneath it and really does not come close to catching it. Play ends and the coach loudly exclaims from the dugout, "You know you can't catch that, get out of the way so someone else can!" Real teaching moment there...

I have an old Stihl from my father in law, that was all he used for many years. Automatic oiler, but no safety brake, it's a tank. I have a small scar just above my knee from stitches from (not quite) stopping that chain on my pants. It's also a pretty much just for display now.

When I was a kid playing sports, the coaches were real. If you had potential, they worked with you. If you didn't, they let you know. Is that mean?
In my opinion, everyone is good at something and when young, they need to figure it out by trying a lot of things. But parents play a role here. Go throw a ball with your kids. Whatch him playing with other kids. Is he a natural athlete? Or, can he play piano by ear? Some are made to play sport, some are made to play music, some are made to make beautiful art. They are all important and fun for youth. However, let the kid figure it out and don't try to live vicariously through your kid.
My kids played soccer and were extremely good at it. The closest I ever came to playing soccer was playing kickball and dodgeball. So, I was a fan and tried to learn as they did. Other parents must have been blind. Their little Johnny obviously was not very good, but would berate the coach because little Johnny didn't start or get more playing time. And, little Johnny didn't even want to be there!
So, how do you coach that?

We're coming up with a plan for renovating these labs and they need to be gutted for asbestos abatement. The plan is to reuse the base and wall cabinets in some fashion so I get to put together a 54 base cabinet and 20 wall cabinet puzzle together.

    upload_2023-10-13_14-4-4.png

The base cabinets are, for the most part, the same depths but some do vary. New chemical resistant countertops will be ordered so at least I don't have to work around that, too.

The wall cabinets are mostly the same depth, too, but are different heights.

This is going to be fun.

At least the stain color is the same so I don't have to keep that straight, too.

Pretty sweet little saw. I collect old saws, mostly homies and macs. Have a handful of the xl12s...great saws and still use them. I have an 1150g with a pto drive for a drill bit...I was told it was used for drilling dynamite holes.
