I debadged a few days ago, IMHO Lunar Rock looks better without the red 4x4 badge.

Hubs was all set to get a black SR5 access cab next month. Got a call from the dealer over the weekend that the deal on a Lunar Rock Sport access cab fell through and was he interested. Hell yes! Test drove yesterday and signed the papers. Hopefully get it next week after add-ons are done.

For reference, located in Northeast, and access cabs are like unicorns. Gave up trying to find a Sport access cab. One dealer had 16 Tacomas - all double cabs! So he feels like he hit the lottery - trim and color that was top of wish list. IMG_6412.jpg

How’s the Sherpa rack treating you? Any crazy wind noise? Been eyeing one for a while now

Parked next to this new white pro at the gym, he sadly was taller than me with those new CA's and i have 32's verses his stock tires. Slightly humorous he also likes the side badge since he added it to his along new truck with the new stamped rear fenders.

Feeling pretty content with how she sits. I do kind of wish I had a mid-height bed bar/rack since I can’t see anything out of the rear view mirror currently when the RTT is on haha. And go figure the day after I put it on I had to pick up a piece of furniture from a family friend and it didn’t fit.
Been contemplating a digital rear view mirror while running the RTT for now but also thinking of getting taller bed bars so I could still use the bed more in case I still had the RTT on.

Bought this three weeks ago. I have been looking for just the right double cab, long bed. Just happened to be cruising through local dealer that hadn’t had any on the lot for some time now, they are sold before they hit the lot. My lucky morning!

An ARE MX cap on order, and pondering possible choice of tire, more than likely BFG KO2 265/75/16’s, as I have had such good service and wear out of them in the past.

Enjoying it so far! Note my 2011 base single cab with MX cap in background. I am keeping that as it is still in fantastic shape, and set up nicely for camping in it.

They are the small upgrade from stock size to 265/75/16 and I have 1" spacers on there. They technically smaller actually, i round up because they're still fairly new @ 31.65" diameter.

Got to test out the @DiamondBack Covers for some camping this weekend out in Southern New Mexico. Worked out great!

It looks like the weather is turning towards winter here in the northeast. I might have had my last day on the water for 2023.
