Was wondering if this would affect anything if I did a criss cross tire rotation. Such as Rear right passenger to the front left driver side and left rear to the front right passenger side.

No, the road force only spins one direction so there is no direction.

criss cross is a good way to rotate so I encourage it.

Properly done road force is a detailed matching of the tire to the wheel resulting in the smallest additional wheel weights possible.

It has nothing to do with directional rotation or the rest of the vehicle.

So as @Bishop84 suggests, criss cross is fine.

Yeah I’ve always criss crossed tires on all of my vehicles but this is the first time I’ve had a truck with KO2’s that needed road force balance and didn’t know if it would affect anything thouugh. Thank you forum for helping another taco owner out!

I don’t see a reason to ever balance tires at rotation time unless you’re experiencing problems.

I think the OP is suggesting that he previously had his tires road forced balanced and wanted to make sure that if he does a criss cross pattern rotation, it wouldn’t mess up the road force balance.

Ah, I did kind of skim. That would make more sense.

lol yes these were road force balanced previously. I bought the KO2’s at a slight larger size on the stock suspension and they were normally balanced but got super shaky on the roads at like 65-80mph road force balanced and it was fixed so now just waiting out till my next oil change to rotate them which I normally do at 8-9k miles using the mobile 1 full synthetic oil.

I definitely get that. I’m running General Grabber ATXs and I had to get them road force balanced because of shaking as well.

Balancing has nothing to do with the vehicle. Only the tire to the rim. Rotate as you please.
