I would honestly throw some dobinson on there and see how you like them. You may decide you don't even need ads. Their stuff is really nice

Apparently the throttle plate on the Ferd assists the EGR in that it acts like a 'choke' or 'butterfly valve'.

Knowing that, I wonder if that's really what caused the no-start issue involving the need for an EGR valve when really it's the plate that is stuck in a 'closed' position causing for a lack of air.

I could be inclined to do that, mainly cause it'd be a lot cheaper and I was genuinely surprised how well the Land Cruiser handled on Dobinson springs.

I'll go look at their offerings; need to do a rear coil swap since I'm still on perfectly functioning airbags :crapstorm:

yes lol I thought I had mentioned that but I maybe forgot to send....I actually had the exact same issue.

Unscrew the plate and remove it but leave the connector plugged in to the motor on the elbow. Doesn't hurt anything

ohh yeah if they're done they're done, 6.0s are super sensitive to battery voltage to the point where the FICM can die if you run the truck with a weak alt/batteries

I pulled a pair out that wouldn't run my 6.0 but they both charged and worked in my buddy's camper setup

I ended up reading about that as well; fortunately my FIL never even let the battery get low as he'd always have it on a tender before he drove it whenever he got back.

The batteries are dead from the truck sitting for 10 months :bananadead:

No one, not even my MIL drove it.

That sausage face creeps me out.

had a boars head ham sandwich at the airport today with some tasty mustard. Alllllllmost worth the $15 the company paid for it.
