What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Installing 200mil sound deadening on the rear, roof and firewall. Doors were done a couple of years ago.

 

they also have a 8 year warranty so if you think about it, its not to terrible of a deal

 

Basically the glow plug isn't firing up as it should. Lot of white smoke. The thing is is the glow plug fires as it shuts down. I tinkered with it a bunch and there were these little tiny bubbles at a couple of the fittings. I think air is getting introduced to the line and it's not holding whatever pressure it needs. I fixed it once by putting wire ties on some of the fittings. The thing is on these cheap diesel heaters. The fuel line is an odd size. It's small. So you can't really get a hose clamp to fit. So I bought some new fuel line . 3/16 I think. And a new fuel filter. I'm at Denali now and I think I'm going to tinker with it a little bit more.

 

I’d love to do this to my truck but it seems kind of daunting. Lots of time and things to take apart

Found a set of TRD replica wheels on Facebook Marketplace and got an absolute deal. Guy sold them to me for $250 total and in nearly perfect condition. They are mounted on Discount Tire's Pathfinder All Terrains 265/70/17. I added black lug nuts this time around.

I'm looking to buy a new heater, not a new sleeping bag.

 

I just bought a tiny 500w space heater during prime days for $16 that'll run off of my Ecoflow. I have a mr.buddy also but the risk of carbon monoxide is enough for me to not use it in my shell or tent anymore.

 

I waited about a month.
I called every week (sometimes 2x a week) during that time.
Eventually was able to get the general manager who made a call and got it moving.

I should have actually paid the seller $500 as an environmental fee since I am now driving around like hot garbage.

 

I'm thinking the same thing. I really don't want to propane heater in the back of my bed/cap.

 

Took out my 10ish year old add-a-leaf springs that I somehow broke both in half and put blocks in for now

 

Have it in for the yearly state inspection and emissions. Only thing that failed was a tag light was out. Care to guess what they wanted to replace it?
