Agreed...I had two 10" S8s on my former roof rack (as you know), and while Uptop did a good job with the fairing cutouts and mounting, glare was still an issue.

I had to order a map on line and they scanned it in and tweaked it by removing roads and words etc from it. We changed the colors and kept all the elevations. They couldnt get any of the app's to get a clear enough picture so it wouldn't pixel when printed.

    Hey @TailHook

S8 30" with our Squadron Pro is a great combo to have upfront. Having forward-facing lights in areas that don't create too much glare is key. With ditch lights, we suggest kicking them out to prevent glare on the hood or fenders. That way you can create a nice spread for the in-cabin feel.

    Best,
    Bill

    Hey @Rudimentality

How are you liking the S8 up front? Whenever you get that roof rack and need help deciding on a bar. Feel free to reach out and I can help suggest different lighting options.

    Best,
    Bill

Oh, Bill. Don't you already have a pin-up photo of me in your locker? :spending:

Love the S8. Lights so nice I'd buy them twice. The plan's to do the 40" S8 on top, and don't worry, I'll even pay my own cab fare to get home. :D

Alternator took a dump. No biggie.

anyone locally re-spool these things or is that no longer a thing?

    Thanks, Bill...

My A-pillar lights (Squadrons) are angled out about 45* with a driving combo pattern...I'll experiment with the angles a bit more.

@Baja Designs with the best lighting out there. Old style 30” onyx6 and S1’s mounted sideways on the bumper and it’s a ton of light output. Could use another pair of S1’s maybe to fill the void but it’s not bad.

We ran out to knoll lake on the rim last night so the gf could get one more SUP session in for our vacation. Ended up driving out after sunset and the wind changed directions.

Not the best Pic and this was on our way out of the section where we had ZERO visability even with the amber fog/light bar combo.

Not personally impacted, however I know extra curricular activities at all levels are suffering right now for funding issues. Costs just keep rising, and it directly gets passed down to the "consumer." Many organizations, like Drum Corps, youth leagues like this one, and non-school sponsored activities are folding all over the country.
