What have you bought in the last 48 hours gun related?

I need to shop around for some interesting Contender barrels. I have a .357 Maximum and a 10” .223 that I’ve had a ton of fun developing loads for. .30 Carbine is very cool!

 

We have no Accademy but just ordered 3 150 round boxes f that from Cabelas on sale for $89 a box

I have a few less common TC calibers, but 30 carbine is super rare. Loading 30carbine is a PITA though.

 

My.223 is 1:14. It was a hassle to come up with a good load for it. I think I settled on 40 grain VMaxs over 2400. I don’t remember specifics, but it was great for shooting potatoes at 50’

 

Grabbed 2 of those this morning.

 

I just ordered a copy of this to go along with a 1902 Winchester I have. I may order the Cody Museum letter for it today too. Rainy days can get expensive.

 

i dont reload....... but 30 carbine is one of my favorites.

stocked up on it about 10years ago at Knob Creek. most of its Armscor, but it runs in all my M1's & my AR conversion.

My local Academy has Winchester 5.56 green tip on sale for $10 per 20 round box. Wish they had bulk packaging, but regardless, $.50 per round isn't bad. They also have Browning .223 at $60 per 120 round box.

 

1000 - 5.56
900 - 22LR
500 - 9mm

 

Picked up 400rds of .223 and 500rds of 9mm today. Shoulda did 1k on the 9mm at the price it was.

 

Not sure what direction you went from you place. but down here where I’m at (RVA). We have both of those stores with in a mile of two of each other.

 

Son in law went to the Accademy in High Point today that’s all he saw. Good boy he only grabbed a few boxes and left some for others.

 

I hit the Cabelas in Gainesville. I ordered 3 of the 150 boxes on their website last night $89 isn’t bad it was on sale.
Greentop didn’t show any in stock at least in the bulk packs

 

Rite rite. I have found sometimes, Greentops web site is slow or lacking as to what is actually in store. This is on the ammo side though. Still like going there on occasions as it’s local.

 

Nice store and you’ll get to see a lot there you won’t other places. Last thing I think I got there was my AR9
