Spent the last 3 weeks watching Pacific and Band of Brothers. Watched Hacksaw Ridge the week before. All 3 were excellent and left me wondering how men can do this to each other.
Hacksaw Ridge never lets up with its brutality and the medic Desmond Doss saves 75 wounded men from certain death when the Japanese overran their positions. He did it without firing a weapon and his faith in god.
I had to read about him afterwards. He did the same thing in 2 other battles before Okinawa. Won the Medal of Honor.
Band of Brothers was very good and was a history lesson of the war in Europe but I thought Pacific was the better of the 2. Both are worth the time it takes to watch.

We need to watch these movies and pay attention to what is going on in the world right now.

CCR’s ‘Fortunate Son’ always plays in my head when I watch these US military-themed drama movies.

The Boys on Prime. Finished season 1 last night, on episode 3 of season 2 currently.
Started Gen V last week too, same, but different.

I just watched it last night. Very good in my book!! Unlike last season, really left me jonesing for Season 3!! The reason? They actually are following the book and showing things Jordan hints at, or writes cryptically. Very good.

The Burial on Prime. Great movie.
Finished off The Boys. Bunch of degenerates, lol. The parallels with comic book superheroes were hard to miss.

The Burial was quite good. The Boys is great. GEN V is an offshoot of that series.

I last saw X Files when it originally aired in the 90's. I'm on season 7 now. Just good sci fi writing.

What platform is it on? I loved that show back in the day. Tried watching it from the beginning several years back and it was pulled off of Netflix before I got to far into season One.

Finished The GOLD BBC (Hulu??) - worthy of watching. Good acting and storyline.
Finished Season 2 of Invasion (iTV) - cornier than a corn dog, but addicting

    Finished Asoaka (Dis) - meh

The Bear. Done S1 and it's good. Seems more hype than substance but good enough.

Working in kitchens for majority of my life, I like this show, well at least season 1 (I haven’t seen the second season yet). The episode where they go live with the door dash inspired system and he looses it on everyone hit deep for me. I felt that episode and I felt exhausted after it. Chefing ain’t easy
