What would be the loudest and most awful sounding exhaust for a V6 engine in my 'Taco? I can install this sucker in my backyard. I have toolz...

Ha ha. I don’t have as big an issue with that in my neck of the woods. But I would prefer to upgrade my exhaust with something better sounding than the girly coffee can exhaust systems.
My last truck had a Gibson cat-back exhaust system. Loved it.

 

3 inch straight pipe to 6 inch tip should give lots of rasp and drone

 

If your Tacoma does not constantly backfire you won't be competing with noise makers.

How difficult would it be to add a fuel injector and spark plug to the exhaust tip? I mean rasp and farts sound cool, but flames is where it’s at.

 

Extreme loud exhausts have become a damn plague where I live. It is awful some nights as they run up and down the 4 lane near my house, trying to "out loud" each other.

 

The only thing you need to install for an obnoxious exhaust is a new blade in the sawzall.

 

Will that be enough to trigger a false shotspotter alert?
