Haha! I was going to say that it wasn't a bad deal if you just wanted the wheels (I think I sold mine for $400, though). But, you're correct about the tires. My Dunflops came off with 1300 miles on them and I almost felt bad taking any money for them.

Even toyota is so bored of the 5th gen that they are doing official reveals at a random credit union parking lot.

Not that I’m complaining of boring 5th gens…that just means an even more endless supply of compatible salvage parts. It will just be a lego parts car. I’ll be able to keep mine going for the next 30 years!

By then, I might get bored of the 4.0 and its “adequate performance at sea level”…but that’s what LS swaps are for

 

Just remember that tyres are a lot cheaper than vehicles!
