There’s usually a couple threaded holes to run a bolt through that’ll push it off

Sorry I missed you, but yeah, I may have been doing the boulder bridge right about then, both ways. @McSpazatron has the photos. These tires are frigging awesome.

It's all speculation still. There's even some folks who don't think they're even going to make one. :der:

    The 2024 4Runner reveal.

So they backed the sixth gen up to 2025 at least.

That's old news (at least it is on 4runners.com). I thought you would have known that already. :boink:

WTF? I swear @LarryDangerfield had just posted a link to some 4Runner tires and wheels for sale. Where'd it go?

:anonymous: It was a good deal but then I realized that not one single member in this thread would run the stock dunflops on those so if you were buying them just for the wheels then it was just a meh deal so I deleted it lol

Haha! I was going to say that it wasn't a bad deal if you just wanted the wheels (I think I sold mine for $400, though). But, you're correct about the tires. My Dunflops came off with 1300 miles on them and I almost felt bad taking any money for them.

Yeah, they are terrible tires. Only good for on road use for spring summer and fall aka useless for everyone in here.

Speaking of tires, that's the other reason I wanted to ditch the X3s. Late fall is that time where we can have snow in the morning one day and be 55 the next day so I wanted an AT tire for those awkward times where there's a possibility for snow but it's not quite time to put the winter wheels and tires on.

Proof of both ways below! The shots on boulder bridge aren’t dramatic because those mickeys made the whole thing a non-event lol.

    There’s something so nice about 16in wheels…

Aaaaand since it became tire night all of sudden here's a fun fact. With these Mickey Thompsons I will have ran the following brands: Mickey Thompson, Cooper, Falken, Firestone, Goodyear, Kenda, Atturo, Bridgestone, Uniroyal, Dunlop, Continental, Michelin, Yokahama, Maxxis, Hankook, General, and Toyo.

Wow this post started off as somewhat of a joke and ended with me realizing I have a legitimate problem..... Also, several of those brands I ran a couple different tires!

edit: forgot one :anonymous: actually two! NO THREE OH MY GOSH LOL ACTUALLY FOUR NO FIVE I KEEP REMEMBERING MORE

Truck is looking real nice with the new shoes, Dean!

It's not a problem, you are just thorough with your optimization process.

I agree with your first quote, the tires look great! The second quote...well....no. Just a problem burning cash chasing the next new thing in the form of vehicles/vehicle mods. I appreciate the positivity though :D

Even toyota is so bored of the 5th gen that they are doing official reveals at a random credit union parking lot.

Not that I’m complaining of boring 5th gens…that just means an even more endless supply of compatible salvage parts. It will just be a lego parts car. I’ll be able to keep mine going for the next 30 years!

By then, I might get bored of the 4.0 and its “adequate performance at sea level”…but that’s what LS swaps are for :D
