I lost track thousands of dollars ago.

It's all good were all Nubes once. the coils give the lift you set the 5100's at 0" lift and let the coils lift the truck you can not safely lift the IFS on these trucks without cutting the cross member out and doing a drop bracket or a SAS.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
You don't want to exceed 3" of lift in this type of setup because you will damage the shock at full droop (other bad things can happen also). The geometery simply wasn't designed for it. It's just not wise, period. If you want to exceed 3" of lift, I would suggest going the drop bracket route or LT. I'm not sure if you can do 4" spindles on a first gen, but that may be another option.

I appreciate it guys. Makes sense. I guess I was just trying to get away with extra lift for a low price. I'm fine with just gaining 3" though--it's enough for now. I might consider a drop bracket or maybe even a SAS when I get a 4x4, but I don't think it's worth it for me at this point. Thanks again.
