:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Man, these 50* to 75* days and sunshine are just paradise after this summer! Today, I get to trim the bottom of the Crepe Myrtle, because they will pick up the branches this week. And I have to season some new grates on the smoker.

Not a Giants fan at all, but they sure tried harder, and really got ripped off the last play of the game. Their coach is a dip (or his off. coordinator is at least) for some of the calls they fed their "new" QB. And go Lions!

    Good morning everyone!
    Have a great day.!

I think Keith Richards earned his honorary pharmacy degree.

Took a little spill late yesterday, my wife begged me to go in to get checked out. We went walking and I found the broken up sidewalk covered in leaves. I thought I broke a couple ribs but just some bruising. Still hurts like hell.funny thing the X-rays talked something about issues from chronic fractures to the right side. I know I have broken at least 6 ribs on my right side multiple times. Couple work related accidents. Blind sided by some falling material someone didn't put away properly and a fall after that at a rutted job site.
    This was the left.

Nothing major or fancy. Just stuff to make it work better for me. Running boards, seat covers, BakFlip
If you're looking for rain we'll send you some of ours. We'll squeeze enough out to make sure fire season is over and you folks can have all the rest.
Took the 30/30 down off the wall, might sneak down to the orchard this evening and see if I can bag a deer or two.

Wifey got all paranoid when I said I was trimming the tree out front. All I was doing as getting rid of the branches that attacked me when mowing!

New guys fill the cooler, don't sit in Mike's recliner, and you can now put honeycomb wheels on GM products that never had them originally.

I'm lucky that Trex has a 20 year Warranty (At least I'm hoping!) My southern California upstairs deck has started to flake. Looked at the Warranty process already, looks a little cumbersome
to submit a claim but I'm hoping for positive results.

@bucktales that kitty is not someone's pet. Dam, it's always better to see that on camera rather than come face to face, unless you are hunting it. Seen one on a trail cam at the lake. Once I seen it, I was carrying on the 18 acres. To many trees and cover for it, not to be on alert.

We're getting quite a few now but never that close. There are several thousand acres of watershed land a few miles North of me where I hunt. They're coming out of there for easy pickins. Lots of feral cats around here.
These, as well as quite a few Black Bears frequent the area.
These Kitties are still a no-go in ct. IMO, they're not the brightest bulbs in the box as far as predators are concerned.
Called in several while hunting Yotes. Called in a few while calling Turkeys as well. A Turkey call is like a dinner bell to them.

The lack of a tail means it ain't one of the much larger cats - we've got them here - and seen in the vicinity. Wyo Game and Fish in Casper kept finding them in town when we lived there (4 one year) - here we are only a short distance from Saguaro Nat'l Park. There was a nice video on the evening news this spring showing a family of three (with tails) sipping from a nearby swimming pool.
