You're like a teenage girl on Instagram fishing for affirmation... except your welds are actually good and I don't have to lie to you and tell you they look fine.

Lol the one place I don't post any welds, or projects are on FB

And FB is kind of where that response here came from; people steal pics (I'm betting) or shit on people's welds so hard cause everyone there is a pro welder

I've always been of the mind that the only bad welds out there are the ones that leak or break and I've yet to have any of those... plenty of not pretty ones, but no bad ones.

    1000%

On the real, I can't run a fillet weld TIG welding anymore

I ran some open corners and they came out badass, but the second I ran a fillet...I couldn't run a puddle consistently

    Was a few days ago

Leak though, I never did pipe weld

Tried certifying on it but never could finish enough to pass visual even

@Speedytech7 did you ever stick weld pipe?

I don't weld anything professionally anymore thankfully, that chapter is closed. I can stick weld pipe or tube just fine though, did lots of small round and medium round butt and fillet welds when I was practicing. Stick welding isn't my favorite, it has its place though thankfully it rarely crosses over with my hobbies these days.

Probably enjoying the 5 mins between chaos and hell wondering if he can manufacture longer minutes with mushrooms and booze.

I'm ok. Still mentally drained. Showed up to work late and left early. Good news is uhaul isn't charging me for the trailer damage (they shouldn't) and covered the expense of the tow which I'm sure wasn't cheap given the time and mileage. Confirmed that the incident is closed and can focus on the car. Hope to start tearing it apart tonight and drain some fluids.

    Well that's good

I don't know how you are but being me, that would've kept me up at night cause I find it hard to sleep when I need to "take care of something"

Least you get to dig into it right away

I got over that urge on the side of the road. Like I wanted to poke around and see if anything else is broken but the side of the road isn't the place to do that so I chalked it up to do later. I'm also not that motivated to look at it since I'm scared I may have done internal damage with the 250* water temps. So part of me is delaying learning the answer to that...
