Was a very quiet weekend; the older i get the more frustrated I get that travel seems to exact a toll against me I never anticipated while young. :-/

Been driving my tacoma to work most days the past week or so; I really miss using it for its inteded purpose - getting off pavement. Campin'. Wheelin'. I have a clunk under the front end when turning sharply. I noticed a tie rod end has a popped bag, so that's next. There's almost always a 'next thing to fix' it seems.

 

I was bombing down some dirt roads yesterday when I came up on a bunch of potholes that were around a corner and absolutely crushed them. I’m waiting to find out what my “next thing” is lol, I haven’t heard anything bad yet

 

Sounds like you’ll need upgraded cam tabs and bolts! Here’s a pic of one of mine. Remember, my truck is a 2020…

Howdy yall. Might need to snag me a new truck battery this afternoon. Toooootally a coincidence after a muddy, wet weekend at AOAA...

House was really cozy. The garage/shop was nearly perfect. Lots of parking. House Front door was about 15 feet from a 45mph road. . Living room was not large enough to have a sofa AND coffee table - would have had to pick one. That was the deal breaker I think. Other than the shop (oh - the upstairs was 75% finished. It had kitchen and bath and main room done; needed flooring for a bedroom) the house had nowhere to go once you're inside. Walk in, 8x10 room on the left (living) or 8x14 room on the right (dining) or stand in the kitchen. One thing I don't like about living on base, I have a living area or a bedroom to be in. I prefer choices. Sun room? Den? Family Room? Office? something else.

We're gonna pass and hope something else happens.
