Are you sure the flange bent? Or did the flange nuts take a few hits and loosen? Traditionally that's not a weak area, because the flange is fairly thick.

The Solo skid is nice because it also protects the pinion seal area. It's easy to bend the dust shield there and make noise. Happened to me in 2020. However, the rear skid attachment stabs into the rear housing at a 90 deg angle. Traditionally, the rear housing is thin sheetmetal and can be punctured, so companies sell a weld-on piece over just the rear cover:
Turd gen OR has a bigger diff, so this one is more appropriate: https://rcimetalworks.com/product/rear-differential-skid-plate-16-23-tacoma-trd-offroad-pro/
The RCI skid's left clamp can dig into the fuel tank at full flex. You can even see it on their photo. And it doesn't protect the pinion flange.

    1. Weld on the Trail-Gear rear housing armor.
    2. Modify the Solo skid mount to fit.
    3. Do a reverse credit default swap with your leveraged derivative holdings.
    4. Profit

Or just stop hitting your pumpkins. I know Oct. 31 is just around the corner and all :pumpkin:

I had to use a die grinder to grind out around the bolt to get the metal out of the way to get a socket on the nut.

Yeah it would be more efficient if we just consumed his consciousness into a chatbot that we could use at all hours to answer our stupid questions

Has anyone ever actually seen him outside of a TW meetup?

@Norilsk Did you create an AI companion to ask Tacoma shit?

Humans will always be better than AI
Id like to see an AI use a vacuum or
Play chess or paint a car or guess what your thinking or dance or do math or be a dog . :angrygirl:oh -oh
