Should they be oil on this speed sensor or should it be dry ? My opinion is dry. Once again though I could be wrong.

They run in oil, oil has no effect on them you just don't want any metal flakes attached to it.

Well if you can see it in the picture there is something metal looking stuck to the tip of it. I figured it would have to be dry. See that shows ya how much I know. Lol

    Ok so here’s a update.

Over this weekend I had a CV joint go out. So I checked the other side and both boots was busted. So I replaced both CV joints on the front. While I was in there I had a bad hub assembly on the drivers side. So I went ahead and replaced them. SMH. So once again the brakes go put on hold a couple days. So today I put a NEW brake master cylinder on it. On a scale of 0 - 10 with 10 being the best. I would rate it a 3 on better braking. Not a big improvement at all. I was really hoping it would fix the brakes. Which I knew it wasn’t going to fix the ABS part. So I’m getting a little better with each thing I do but we will see in time what’s next. Lol Still flat puzzled at what I’m the world is wrong. I definitely appreciate you guys help.

I'm really at a loss as to what it could be aside from air trapped in the system or a bad ABS module.

If the air is trapped in the ABS module itself we have to get past the electrical issues before the automated bleed can be done.

In my 48 years of life I’ve never seen something so complicated on this brake system. I can’t even get my computer to clear the codes off anymore. With or without the fuses in it.

I mean it's no more complex than any other ABS system, my truck has the fancy HCU/Booster I'd rather mess with a standard ABS system any day versus working on that.

I can't think of any test we haven't done other than physically plugging lines one at a time to see if the pedal comes back, doing the automated bleed or manually controlling the ABS solenoids (which we can't do even with the proper scanner due to the power circuit code).

Im at a total loss right now. Told my wife today if I had the money I would take it to a dealership and say fix it an I don’t care what it cost just fix it. Take off the whole system and start 100% new everything.
