The rear seating setup is ahead of its time in that, it took other manufacturers freaking years to offer something similar.

Easy to remove, or simply easy to fold away. The Land Cruiser was the same way.

And you're not kidding about the CPG, that's a beautiful color but I rarely see them in general much less for sale.

Yeah I get why they switched to built in / electronically controlled 3rd row, given who buys these new, but man, just folding 'em up or taking them out is sooo much nicer!

    Love it.

Better gas mileage than the LC.

AC all around cools down the interior super fast.

It's comfy as a daily driver.

I enjoy just driving it even when I'm alone so definitely happy about that; turning radius is not bad at all as it's nice and tight.

Absolutely no complaints and now having owned it, I'd own one just because even if we didn't have Theo. But I can't imagine looking at one if we didn't. Then again I daily drove Corvettes for the longest.

I've been doing my own but I'm over cleaning up the mess and need to get back into my barber rotation. It's easy to get lazy.

Once a week was 2 years ago

@eon_blue is the one saving money by getting a haircut once every decade though

All great points to hear. I'll always have a soft spot for older LCs but to me for a daily and road tripper, these are just better imo. (And I have no desire to modify one, maybe that's just me.)

In the other end of the spectrum a different guy I wheel with has one with a jd kit in the front and a 3 linked diamond 9.5 in the rear. Love watching people react to him pushing it on hard trails.

    He looks like a hippy.

I pay $40 once a month. Probably a bit spendy but it's my friend's wife who cuts my hair and I would rather spend money there than some random person.

    I got my go-to barber; he's only $25 but I pay him $50

One person that saves more than all of us is @Sperrunner I don't think he even owns a razor

Its wild that people (can't imagine many) put portals on a GX. But imma softroader, so what do I know haha.

My barber is ex-air force, in her 60s and charges way too little. She's great. I haven't been back since they reopened after Covid, so she may have made good on her threats to retire to the NJ coast. The I'm screwed haha, but good for her if she did it.

Is it possible to delete the rear air suspension on those and go to something conventional? Seems the air suspension might be a disadvantage for towing if I’m remembering something I read the other day correctly.

It's super easy to do so and even Icon sells a kit (for $80 or $85)

I just haven't bothered cause it's not a priority, plus I'd need to get coils

My air suspension does work though

Mines $30 +$10 tip. For a half hour that seems decent.

Nice. That opens up the possibilities. I’ve noticed that around me the gx4-0s is less overpriced than a similarly aged 4runner.

I hate when I see them deal with shitty kids

So I've only been in Todd's 4R but, it feels shorter/smaller inside his versus my GX, but his 4R focuses on center console storage
