    I had a mental flashback when I would run over to 21st Amendment & Deli across Fulton Blvd. Guinness is good for you!

    I am ready to retire and am considering moving back to Sacramento. Traffic sucks, and home prices suck, but it's still home to me.

    My goal is to walk/bike. I'll keep the Tacoma, but I suspect I will keep it maintained and fueled so that when the kids have time, they fly into SMF, head into town, and snag me and the truck for a camping trip.

    Downtown/Midtown is sketchy—Sister is in East Sacramento. For me, a 2/1 1000 sq ft would be OK, with enough yard to build an ADU (I'd move into it, or less one of my grand nephews/nieces live there while attending Sac State.

    I aim to keep active as long as possible, so having a walkable area (shopping, coffee shop, boxing classes) would be ideal. Parkinson's Boxing is at 18th & E downtown. I keep up on my jab/crosses but am getting slow. Thankfully, at 245# 6'3", most street urchins don't harass me.
