Like the title says. I have a 2010 access cab. I have a JL 500/1 D mono Sub amp I'm trying to put underneath my passenger seat. The dimensions length and width wise are fine but I am just a touch too high. With the seat all the way forward the amp just barley clears but when I move the seat back it gets hung up on a bar that hangs down towards the rear of the seat. The drivers side has the same bar but it hangs nowhere near as low. Can i bend or cut this bastard out or will that screw it up too bad? I know I know just move it to the drivers seat.... I put my amp for my fronts and components under there already and the sub is behind the passenger side.

You can rotate that bar up out of the way. You'll have to remove the seat and the plastic skirting on either side of the seat. Once the skirt is removed there'll be a torx (torx bit ?) head screw on each side that holds the bar in place. Good luck!

Yep, I moved mine. You just rotate it so the bar bends UP and not DOWN. It's pretty easy and makes for a TON more clearance.

Awesome! I was hoping that was just bolted up. I couldn't see up in there enough to tell if it was welded in there or not. Thanks.

Just got home and checked... unless they changed things up from a 2007 to 2010 you're gonna need a T-40 Torx bit to remove the screws.

Yea no prob I've got an entire garage full of tools. Definitely appreciate the info, I was worried that wasn't a movable piece. Was trying to take a picture up under there to see how it was attached, it didn't turn out so good.
