No but I did get a better NVMe drive thanks to him, that at least has a heat spreader and faster benchmarks

No, I said you don't normally need to upgrade/switch power supplies so opposite

I only asked, why DDR4 for a new build, and why a low end card

Well that worked out, I've put in about 20ish hours of work so far from home on my leave...was informed they are just going to pay me per day that I hop on so I'll basically just keep making my normal checks.

wonder if I can make this permanent lol

Reminds me of @Wulf old job

Many can be done remotely, and some companies (or specific staff members) just want an employee's presence for some stupid reason

They won't because they are going crazy with the other guy doing the photos, the system is all screwy and not nearly as efficient so I'm sure they can't wait until I'm back in the studio every day unfortunately. The one main part of the gig that can't happen remotely.

    ah, ya

There's only like 2 AM5 mini-ITX boards on the market rn, and neither really had me stoked on them. And DDR5 performance is basically the same as DDR4 and you can just step into a higher speed DDR4 for the same price to match effective transfer rate. Also, AMD is putting new regulations on their chips because people are burning them out which has recently caused me headache when going to update my BIOS. They killed the ability to undervolt Vcore on the board I bought following AMD's updates, after I had spent time tuning that, so my idle power consumption went up a few watts and I sequentially tried all BIOS versions until I got it back. So in the end idk what the better choice will be, since updating to a future gen CPU (the main reason I ended up going this route) will likely force a BIOS update incorporating all the stacked changes AMD has made since then, aka I might lose features.
