I wasn't against you going AMD on the new build, as I think I mentioned I wasn't up to speed with their latest but damn sorry to hear about all that

In what way are the "burning them out" anyway?

Stock clock and boost speeds are so high nowadays that it makes getting a premium motherboard a waste of money vs a more basic one

Really it'd come down to form factor and number of usb ports etc

Ya and from what I briefly read of the AMD AGESA, I don't think they even needed to - just over volting. So Gigabyte took the lazy route I'm thinking by just removing the option completely

    Of course

The ghosts I actually nested using Firecontrol and I got a shit ton done

The closest one you see had the three bottom panels nested closely, only separated by the lead-in

    20231018_141010.jpg

Everything else cut after that were separare sessions and considered scrap as the $20 piece of 2' x 4' has already paid me $120 (including cutting myself that angle grinder holder)

The extra unexpected $40 was my neighbor asking for some pumpkins for his yard

    One session, absolutely nest

Separate sessions on different days, you say "fuck it, good enough"

I don't know how much steel costs in your area, but one member stated paying $165 per 8' x 4' of 16 gauge

    I pay $88 or $89 total for that same 8' x 4' including having it sheared 3 times for 4' x 2' pieces; it's $5 per shear

I'm spoiled by our costs here

Under 3/16 it's pretty cheap, over it starts to get spendy. I live less than 5mi from 4 really good distributors depending on what I need.

When I found out a close one did laser, that's when I decided he'll be my go-to for everything

We have CDA Metals here that does laser, it's nice and it hardly costs anything which is a bonus. The one closest to my house is Alcobra and they're nice because they are happy to fulfill small quantity orders and do the big cuts for me. They also do wire EDM and custom extrusions which is cool.

The custom extrusions are cool, haven't looked for anything like that here

Still, so nice to DIY shit but have that "availability" for custom work/parts nearby

People will pay so much for the most basic shit; some dude was all happy about driving an hour and a half each way for a molle panel for his truck and paying only $200 for it
