    The Irish Death was smuggled up from the US of A on our last trip south, as was the pumpkin ale...as messed up as Portland may be politically, there are some amazing quaffs to be found all over Oregon

    And Abbey in Abbotsford - a city about 75 km east of Vancouver - has some amazing offers.

    We enjoyed their Lager tonight, which was really good, 'though their Blonde Ale is...wonderful...

    The pumpkin ale was...okay.

    Adding a couple drops of the fiery stuff from, of all places, Rawanda (I have never seen anything else imported to The Great White North from Rwanada) and it was okay. Nothing like Starbucks' or Granville Island, but....okay...

    And 20231014_193019.jpg that'd be a quintessentnial Canadian thing, adding chili sauce to beer. We make Molsons, and Labatt's, and we import - SHUDDER - Coor's Lite and Bud Light - so we need to compensate...
