It's in the owners manual. I have a jack point in the middle front right past the skid plate.
    upload_2023-10-18_21-56-14.png
For the rear I use the rear axle as a point.

These were both called out in my owners manual....I looked it up after Toyota busted a drain plug on my frame due to using that area as a jack point.

Never again with the Toyota service department. Every time I go there it's like asking to get kicked in the face. "Toyota care"...my ass

For the factory bottle jack follow this

    upload_2023-10-18_21-55-13.png

For a proper hydraulic jack this will do.

It doesn't have the OEM part number. I'm pretty sure they are aftermarket. I just want to find the correct match.

    It’s not lazy, it’s smart. :cookiemonster: :D
Edit: Actually the tailgate is dampened, so yeah I let gravity do its thing. You’re a good man @RichochetRabbit don’t let anyone ever tell you otherwise!

It cannot be "mitosis". There would have been 4 trucks.

My opinion/experience (not scientific) from using a deflector on my past 2 SUVs:
    • If a rock hits the deflector, it will absorb a lot of energy and probably bounce away from the windshield or not hit it very hard
    • If a rock hits the front edge of the hood, it will absorb some energy and probably bounce away from the windshield or not hit it quite as hard
    • If the rock goes above the deflector or the hood, it will hit my windshield
My conclusion: The deflector helps for rocks coming at me in a 3" band where the deflector is. The deflector also keeps the paint on the front edge of the hood nice, but I can't see it.

My experience on those 2 SUVs: A windshield will last between 2 weeks and 3 years, depending on where the rocks hit and how fast the cracks spread.

My experience with my Taco: The PPF keeps the edge of my hood nice and I can see the paint. My windshield lasted 600 miles and about a month before taking a rock hit up high. All the cracks are on the pax side so I'm ignoring them for another winter.

As long as you don't get a blue or yellow flat deflector like this you'll look cool enough:

Nice find on the hot wheels. Where did you find one? I look every now and then at the local stores but never find one.

Air bag light is on. Once my steering wheel goodies come in I wont have a driver bag either so I'll get into resistors or just pulling the fuse/light.
Cost ranges with options like heat or lumbar support and the bases to fit the Taco. It will be around $1,400 to $1,800. Corbeau has a military discount. You have to prove you were in directly with them not a 3rd party. It was a nice discount.
