Hotspot... thats the word I was looking for... I was told of an app to allow you to have a mobile hotspot free but I forgot of the name of it... Don't want to give Verizon more money!

You can't get rid of some the stupid apps like Blockbuster unless you root your phone.

If your truck has an aux hook up you can listen to Pandora in your truck thru your phone.

Heres a step by step guide to rooting, removing bloatware, and flashing roms and kernels, if you end up wanting to do it. The guys on this forum are pretty knowledgeable, and pretty quick with responses if you end up needing help. Rooting will also help with battery life. I used to get about 10 hours battery life with moderate use, after rooting and running a new rom, i can get around 36 hours with moderate use.

yeah i might pass on the rooting, it voids warranty thats fine but if it voids my insurance on the phone, thats risky.

Love my Android, but wish I had something with a faster processor like an EVO. My Hero is ok, but it's a little sluggish.

yeah, rooting does void all of that, but just fyi, you can always unroot your phone. It's quick and easy to do, and sprint will never be able to tell you rooted it. I had an issue with my charging port a few weeks ago, urooted, took it to sprint, and they exchanged it for a brand new one, no questions asked, even though they did do a quick check to see if it was rooted.
Not trying to push you into doing it or anything, just letting you know its not as risky as it seems.
