    Hey John,
Sad to see your truck possibly leaving ya. What are you thinking of getting instead?
I traded in my Taco for a Gladiator in the summer (yes I know, dumb move), and just sold it. Ended up back in a Toyota. This time I went used and got a 2019 TRD offroad 4runner. Lift and tires go on Tuesday....lol

Hope all is well with you and the family.

Good morning Matt. Interesting that you just sent this as I have actually been looking at a Mojave. There are things I like and some things I'm not sold on so I have not made any kind of decision. They really have some great deals right now that have me interested. I still have need for a truck or i would look for a SUV. You should be happy with that 4runner. I may give you a call and pick your brain a little bit later if that's okay. Family doing well for the most part. Hope all is well with you.

Short lived Jeep life. I know you like to change up rigs frequently, but that was quick. Any particular reason? Just curious.

The runner is a great choice. Sure the platform is approaching dinasoaur status, but the interior and extetior design still feels relevant to my standards and the powertrain is proven. Plus they're super comfy to daily. Every time I drive my wife’s I’m a little envious.

That's why I said I wanted to talk with him about it. I have spoken with quite a few people that own Gladiators over the last couple of weeks and I have not found one person that did not like them. In fact one guy said I'm not going to tell you what I like I'm going to tell you what I don't like and that's nothing so I hope to have an interesting conversation with Matt to pick his brain. I test drove a couple of models and I liked the way it drove plus it was more roomy inside so it will be interesting to see what he has to say.

After a camping trip I realized I need more interior cargo space. I had a 2017 Pro runner and I missed having one. I found a good deal on this 19 with relatively low miles on it.

As for the Gladiator, it was a nice change from the Taco as far as room and transmission. The gas mileage sucked and I got a message on the dash a few times that said vehicle will shut off soon. I'm like WTF. It was a cool looking rig with the blue color, hood scoop, and the 35s on Methods.

Local guy has a dark green diesel gladiator that’s very tastefully modded (mild lift/tires/wheels). It looks slick, but I have no insight into its reliability or real world fuel economy.

I want the interior space a full size offers, but don’t need the overall foot print for a daily and really can’t swallow the shit MPG of the Tundra.

With 35s, a heavy bumper and winch I can imagine fuel mileage would not be good. That has been one of the complaints I've read about online plus depending on how you drive and adding more weight to the truck does not help. The dash warning sounds interesting. Did you ever find out what the cause of that was and was the truck new or used?

I've been looking at a Sarge green Mojave that is stock. It is loaded and is sharp looking. I have gotten them down 13,000 so it's a little enticing. I'm not sure how the fuel mileage would be stock as I've read multiple threads where some say it's not bad and some complain so I'm just assuming it's based on how aggressive you drive. I need a daily driver and don't need anything full size so I thought I might try something different but I have not pulled the trigger.

I never found out the cause and it was new.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Your hilarious! I live vicariously thru all of your vehicle purchases :)
