The greens are likely good for stockish but probably pretty boring and they don't want that type of wheeling there (people coming out to do stock stuff).

Yeah f&f is definitely geared towards people with experience (and a buggy lol), as mentioned the rule of thumb is trails are typically a color harder so greens aren't really green

Yup most greens are really solid blue trails. Some of the blues are black-almost red

 

Need a vehicle I don't have to rely on lmao

I'd love to spectate, still have yet to see buggys wheel in real life

 

Have to go to mabell in the summer. If you keep an eye on the Facebook groups I'm sure you could see it. I honestly hate buggy drivers. They think everyone else is in their way and they tear up everything lol

 

I feel like that sentiment is shared by a couple groups lol, but I just want to see the mechanics of a purpose built rig working really. I'd love to build one someday, but that's big money unless you buy someone's project they've given up on and take it across the finish line

 

Yea for sure, they're cool to watch. Especially at mabell when you have someone that actually knows how to drive their buggy. They make everything look like a cake walk. I forget his username, but one of the old leaders of NTC is a member on here. He has a pretty sweet buggy. I have a local buddy with a buggy and my parents neighbor has one. My buddy I bought my 4runner from has 2 exo caged pickups that might as well be buggies, one runs on propane and the other has some serious travel

Building a buggy would be sweet, start off with like a Samuri or something.

 

Anyone interested in getting some welding/ fab work done? I am thinking Nov 18 or 19, Concord NH. My calendar is filling up fast with a whole bunch of BS

 

I'd, like to start with an old Yota(22R/RE)or a Nissan Hardbody(either th z24 or KA24, both solid powerplants). Solid, simple, reliable platforms, that have been around and cut up so long, tons of old support out there.

Both are easily converted to solid axle, etc.

Love me an old Sami, but, finding a solid one, is either a needle in a haystack,or just nuts(truth be told, been a LONG time since I've looked).
