Wife called about 7 last night asking for advice..... they got the x-ray done at an urgent care. They say they won't have the results of said x-ray for 2 days to 2 weeks. WITAF!
wife wanted to know if she should go to Children's Hospital. I told her NO! BRING HIM HOME! Did she listen... nope
She took him over there, got a new x-ray and then texts me around 1130 saying he has a contusion, not broken or even fractured. I told her and him this on Tuesday just after it happened. No need for doctors, hospitals or urgent cares. She wasted 14 hours over 2 days just for a doctors note to get him out of PE

BTW, I have more experience at this than 85 percent of these idiots (doctors) at the urgent cares and hospitals. My personal ER file is about 4 telephone books thick. All the way from asthma attacks to broken bones and stitches. I have broken my wrist 8 times and the thumb (on the same side) 3 times. I spent about 3 to 4 years fully casted, so long that my mom had to come to my school and fill out the scantron tests for me. I couldn’t even hold a pencil. She also took a few finals for me.
my wrist was casted in a full thumb cast and i broke my thumb in 3 places. Imagine the doctors face when they cut the cast off and take an x-ray. how the hell do you break your thumb when you have a full thumb cast.
Next, still in a cast and I ripped the tip of my thumb. It was just kind of hanging there. They decided it would be best to put a stitch in it. So they pierced the tip of my thumb and came up through the middle of the nail. That was the worst pain I have had in a ER.
I have some stories about ER's.
