I was lookin to upgrade all the speakers to Skar Audio speakers and all together they’d be pushing 1,060 watts and I haven’t been able to find the specs for the stock amplifier so I can find out if I need to buy a new one or bypass it

Not nearly enough. You’ll need an external amp to provide that amount of power.

That’s not how it works… the speakers are rated for that many watts. The head unit has its own max amount, which is something like 200W I’d guess.

So you will either bypass or get an amp that enables you to go in-line and take the high level stereo output and amplify it more for the speakers. Then you should worry about if the stock wiring is thick enough gauge to handle 250W going to each door.

Assuming you mean the JBL amp?

I don't have any specs but considering it only has a 30 amp fuse feeding it it only has a max of about 390 watts of power available to it, fuse ratings are typically about double of what the circuit normally draws so at best I'd say it can do about 200 watts.

    1060 watts is 81.5 amps at 13v

Okay so the front 2 door speakers are 240 watt, the rears are 200 watt, and the tweeters are 80 watts each, and they’re claimed to be plug and play

The RMS rating for each speaker is 80 watt for the tweeter, 240 watt for the front two, and 200 watt for the back two
