This, people are raving about current deals but it's really just back to pre-pandemic pricing..

I see that one is offering free upgraded wheelset, I saw one giving a free GX Transmission upgrade.

Yes, I agree. I'd like to have it if it came with GX T, having another GX AXS isn't doing anything for me.

The rest of the bike is top tier, their new wheels with i9 1-1 hubs, their bar and stem combo is top notch.

    not enough.
yeah, it seems like the 20-ish percent drop is going to pre-pandemic on most bikes. Evil is saying "20 percent on all bikes!" but if you look carefully, it's the same prices as before the pandemic. lol. but you'll find the occasional really good prices. like that WAO. specialized had a few as well.

i've never had axs so that would be a step-up for me but the bike in general is sick. that pricing is very tempting.

Get it, I love mine! The 152 is very capable and how the bike was originally raced in the EWS while developing the prototype 170 links.

Also guys check this bad boy out!

    Nope. New news to me.
    Pretty cool.

Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corp. is a different branch of Yamaha than where the E-Bikes are being produced. Same family though. I also left YMMC a few months ago, as such my overall insight on anything new in that segment is gone.

Yeaaaahhh soooo turns out the frame I bought was a mullet version mislabeled as a 29 so this build has been on hold waiting for the 29 chainstay to covert it back. Should be here next week. The good news is that the shop is letting me keep the mullet chainstay for free for my trouble. Not in any rush to build another wheel but maybe something I can do over the winter. I had already tore my Hugene frame down to the bare bits to service everything for sale so I have been putting in extra work trail riding the Giga in the mean time. Still gotta ride wrap this biatch too, hopefully can get a few rides in before it gets too sloppy. Nothing like breaking in a new frame with some mud.

What a deal, I'd do naughty things on that. Alas I am already full on les bicyclettes...

Speaking of lights, i rock a Lezyne (local company in my town) 1300XL on the bars and will probably get a 800 or 1000 for the helmet on black friday.

I run an 800XL with a remote as redundancy on bigger night rides. The remote let’s me fire it up on faster descents and turn it back off easily over the course of a ride.

I've been super happy with my Gloworms. The batteries have lasted a few seasons (3 or 4) without noticeable degradation of run times.

anyone here wearing the body protectors? more specifically, the ones with d3o? like TLD rockfight CE, fox raceframe impact, etc?

wondering what your thoughts are. I'm thinking of getting one for the harder hitting enduro days so i can also transition to using a hip pack.

Companies got to beat everyone else with the sales..

I have to say waiting till black Friday means you miss out on about 2 months of good night riding.
