Hi can someone tell me what this is lol. I am installing a high clearance coastal bumper and their instructions are for a 2nd gen which doesn’t have this. Not sure how to mount it/where to mount it/ if I even need it at all..

Thanks I saw that but I cut off the crossmember per the instructions. So they say nothing about where to re mount which is where I’m stuck.

    Well………I don’t then.
I guess you have stick it where ever you can?
Maybe you have to cut the cross member on the 2nd Gen, but not the 3rd Gen?

Maybe someone else will jump in here and help you out?

That’s a slightly different bumper. They offer another ones that extra high and involves some frame cuttage lol

Just loop it with the rubber hose for now and get an aftermarket one…. you can mount higher.

Remove it, get a dual male hose connector, replenish lost oil.

I recall remounting that on the first after market bumper I installed. I think I have a photo ...maybe. Stand by. Here is where I ended up mounting it. I think I remember using a bracket that was on the truck or something? It's been a couple of years.

It was just move it closer to the radiator so the winch could fit if I remember right. There is a video on the Body Armor Desert Series bumper install that will show the relocation. That is what we want to watch, that will show it!

    This
    9. Reattach the cooling unit using the extension brackets and the factory supplied bolts. These brackets have a welded bolt on one end of metal bar with a hole on the opposite end. Attach the cooling unit to the welded stud on both brackets of the cooling unit by using the suppled washer and nut. Reuse the factory 8MM bolt to attach the extension bracket back to the frame. This step moves the cooling unit up and back out of the way.

    Installing winch plate:

    1. Lift the winch plate on the frame horns. Center the studs on the frame horns by using the factory nuts. Leave finger tight at this time.

They did use a extra mounting bracket.

Thanks for that. Unfortunately that all mounts together with the factory crossmember. This kit involves welding in a new one above where the factory one was. So the lines just don’t fit at all above it.

You can see in the first picture that crossmember is gone. Haven’t welded up the new one yet though.
