What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Fabbed up a light bar mount for behind the grill, and installed said lightbar. Just an Amazon el cheapo special feom "4WDKing", but figured it was worth a shot before I go and dump hundreds on a Diode Designs bar.

I installed my new Bilstein 5160s this morning and got done right before the rain came. I'm going to let the Offroad shop install the UCAs since they're more involved, plus they have an alignment guy they use that specializes in lifted vehicles. I have to say, the 5160s look real sexy in the wheel wells now.

 

Installed glovebox and center console organizers. Makes me happy.

 

Sometimes its the simplest little upgrades that are pretty great! I've got the same set and I'm happy with em as well!

 

things i need to do once i get new Leaf Springs on my Tacoma! they do look super sexy! though a part of me wants to wrap the reservoirs in a red bull can.

I'm a huge fan of Nilight LED bars, been solid and when they get stolen I don't get super pissed about them, I always worry about my Diode Dynamics in my ARB bumper though

 

That would definitely be original. LOL You can't see it in the picture but I used the Bilstein reservoir mount like this one instead of a pipe clamp or something.

 

i like those clamps. we wrapped a friends Bilstein on his Cherokee in Coors banquet cans.

 

I should also add that the ride quality seems to be noticably softer than the 5100s. I wasn't expecting any change however it glides over bumps much better. I'm planning on switching out the fronts to 6112s in the future but I couldn't drop another $1k on a set right now after buying these and the JBAs. My suspension quality is really good right now though.

 

Never seen the T-9 before. Curious as to where you would use T-9 but not FF, or visaversa.

 

Used it at Boeing years ago... they swore by the stuff. I use it mainly on the front coilovers, leaf springs, cv's, etc as it doesn't attract dirt/dust as much as FF. It's a clear waxy coating... FF is more oily. Have had the Icon suspension on for a couple years now and haven't heard one squeak from the RXT leaf's yet. I use FF mainly on the frame.

High Caster is what I chose. The alignment was very different from standard. It tracks on the road like a dream.

 

JBA has suggested alignment numbers, be sure to provide those with the High Caster versions.

 

Thanks. Do you know where I can find these numbers? I did a quick search of their website but I could only find wheel backspacing numbers and stuff.
