    Ahh, memories!

My 2002 radiant red regular cab prerunner was about 15k new. 2wd, auto, 2.7, grey cloth bench seat, roll up windows, manual locks, ac/heat, ect. I always wished I had the extended cab, v6 and 4wd. I think I sold it for 13k with around 15k miles in 2004-2005 era. No idea what they're worth now, but theirs always a demand for them.

The prices on everything has gotten so whacked lately I honestly don’t know what anything should cost anymore? At the end of the day It’s worth what you value it at, which apparently is 8 grand. Nice looking truck.

FWIW, I just paid $20k for a single owner, very clean, rust free 04 double cab...In my area these trucks fly off the shelf, even when high mileage and so there seemed to be no choice. I would rather pay for a trustworthy proven platform that can be easily maintained and service myself.

Yes, 4wd. It has 157K. Basically stock aside from a gentle lift, 2".

$5K-$10K for a 1st gen 5 lug 2.4/2.7 regular cab depending on condition in Cali. I use to watch the prices alot. Mint 5 lugs under 100K can go for $12k.

I bought mine in 2015 with 29,000 miles for $6400. Seller had no idea about the value of it.

Enjoy your truck ... it's worth exactly how much you enjoy it.

... FWIW, in today's crazy upside down world, that price is reasonable to me. :hattip:

Little high, even for CA, but nothing to lose sleep over.

Also these manual transmissions are harder and harder to find, keep it long enough might make some money..

I agree with what a lot of people are saying. If you're happy then that's all that matters. It may not be a great price but it is certainly not a bad price. One thing to take into consideration is how much you spend on it after you purchase. My 1997 extended cab , 5 lug , 2
4l only cost me $500. Great price that required replacing entire fuel system from the tank to the injectors
Runs like a top now and I love it.
