Well right after posting the pic in the shop thread the 6 point came out at 70 yard walked to the water spot and the walk up to about 66 yds, heavy breathing took over and I asked my son (12 y/o) does he have a shot he says yes and controlled his breathing and boom buck jumped and he kicked and stumbled and ran off tracking left, he was wide eyed I thought he was gonna jump out of the tree. We sat for a min and texted his mom to let her know we were hoping it was good, I filmed it and we rolled it back and it was a solid hit. We found him 20 yd from hit[IMG]was a beautiful first deer. Well to add to the story the muzzleloader I just bought him they didn’t send the scope mount so I let him use mine and he nailed it. Took out top of the heart. While, I wanted him to take it with his very own muzzleloader, he got to take it with mine, which was the gun I shot my first deer with and hope one day his kids will take there first with it .
Also he got the first hang in the cooler, [IMG]then the wife set it up for taxidermy, (none of mine got that) he walking around on cloud nine I couldn’t be happier

never seen a place like his. had 6 bucks and some does in the grown up field. let a nice rack go to shoot the older one in the pic. hope they find it. 1st time he had made a bad shot. tryed to tell him it will happen.picking briars out of my shirt and one in my shoe that stuck in my heel. felt good to get that one out.trail cam pic just before the shot. had to wait for the buck behind him to clear before he shoto_O
