@WiscoPat I agree run conduit for the power, 1 for 120vac, and one for low voltage or communication lines.

Comm pipe for any coax, or network lines (need a TV in the garage). 120v pipe for 3 way switches to lights. Think lights in or on the garage with a switch in the house.

Worst case you can cap the end by the garage and keep it buried underground, then when you need something else just plumb the business end. Big enough pipe and you can run a flexible gas line too!

I did say that I like them. I just don't listen to them often. And, I tend to prefer their B sides.

But, thanks! I'll try not to hold your lack of taste against you, either. :luvya::bananadance:

That looks like the nicest walk behind trencher I've ever seen! Nice!

+1 for running a spare conduit. PVC is cheap (though not as cheap as it used to be). One can easily cap off the unused conduit. Wouldn't be the worst to put a data jack or a WAP out there in the future. :notsure:

My original 20 amp service pipe will remain intact and will tie in to the new garage panel going in, so good to go on that front.

I won't be putting a TV in with the layout I'm planning, but will be putting in speakers!

You could also control the lights out there wirelessly with a Pico switch if you wanted.

You're going to want a TV out there so you can watch YouTube tutorials while you work on stuff. And, for watching sportsball while you change your oil.

Oh there will be some mods all right
Can confirm, YouTube videos on how to work on something on a TV in the garage is fantastic.
