So I went to a town 45 min from where I live today and bought my girlfriend a jacket! I get home and begin to wrap it and notice that they have left the magnetic security tag on. So now I have a gift that has a security tag on it. I called them immediately and they told me I could drive back down there to do it! But i really don't have the time to do it! Can someone please tell me how I can do it! I need help fast!!

you can do it at home...........but you will probably get a small tear/rip in said jacket. they did the same thing and left one of those things on a hunting jacket i bought one time.......so i kinda just ripped the thing off. you can pry on it with a small flat screwdriver.......it will break loose that way.

i know this might not apply for a jacket but you could stick it in the freezer to freeze the ink. it's a shot in the dark but it might work
you can also check out youtube i've seen them remove the alarm tags on there so they might have something like that on there let us know how it goes

I would do that, but I would rather waste time and gas then ruin a brand new jacket! And its a P coat(not easy to find around christmas time or cheap)

I just wanna get it off soon! I wish you could do it with a tool! Bit thats to easy! In my opinion if you have a store that is so big you need those things on stuff under 200 dolalrs then you need more security. Or better sales people
