The Florida tourism department has come up with a new state slogan “Florida: Not just a great place to come to die”

 

So, I was hanging out in the park with my brother the other day. I saw this ugly, mangy, stray dog, laying in the grass, licking himself.
I nudged my brother and asked him “Don’t you wish you could do that?”
He said “Yeah, but he’d probably bite me”

That’s largely true. Pops was born and raised in Tampa working his dad’s orange groves. Joined the Navy. My dumb ass was born in San Diego at Balboa Naval hospital. I am a transplant, but come by it honestly

I like Florida. It was cool AF back in the 70’s before all them damn Yankees started migrating in droves!

If I lived there, one of my hobbies would be to visit dive bars and watch them in action. Bet one of them that they can’t [insert “hold muh beer and watch this” challenge here] and then they get maimed trying to top each other in their stupidity. Perhaps I’ll record it and have a TV show.
Maybe I ask you to be the host, maybe I don’t. Shit remains to be seen.

 

I always thought it meant - “I don’t believe in that whole ‘organized religion’ thing…” but I’ll push my beliefs on you, even if it’s inconvenient for others.

 

Doesn’t really matter cuz I love dive bars, so I’ll be there anyway

 

I’m also gonna need someone fairly decent looking but with a fooked up hillbilly accent to go up to them while they are half dead on the floor after their stunt and say “Awwwww, Bless Your Heart”
