Whats your time line on that look like?

Could make a trip out of it, I need an excuse to go up the northern pacific and enjoy some scenery.

I'd like to come up with a list of everything needed to use it to it's potential and hopefully help some others going down the same path.

I do have a little more room on the parts shelf now that everything from the timing belt and water pump kit is installed and all the turbo parts are under the hood

I'm in no hurry at the moment TBH, the thing does everything I need it to do. I just know there's a few features I will want down the road, mostly unrelated to engine control. Either way I am happy to help you set up one for your truck, whether it's mine or a different Elite or Nexus.

Makes me wonder if they have any hardware changes planned down the line.

I think next on the horizon is likely a larger display to compete with Holley's 12" widescreen touch doohicky. Holley recently acquired AEM as well so the competition got a bit more fierce.

I'm fairly sure they bought AEM just for their line of EV control equipement but still, Holley owns a TON of big automotive brands.

    upload_2023-10-17_13-2-49.png

I'm not opposed to them as a brand really, but it's concerning anytime you see a single company begin to monopolize the market. So far it seems as if they let many of these companies continue as normal and are generally good stewards of motor sport.

That's weird. I thought Honeywell owned Garrett.

Yeah I remember Honeywell had them for a bit, my turbo is actually a Honeywell era Garrett. I wonder if they split the company and sold the automotive servicing portion to Holley and kept the industrial for themselves.

EDIT: Looked it up, that one is a partnership, Holley is their prime distributor and will be providing product support as well for them.

Love the Honeywell on my 35r. People are like "wtf is that knock off, you should get a Garrett".20191028_180109.jpg

Also, Ic7 is very tempting! Definitely going to chill and watch the saga unfold...for now.

I went easy on it for 10miles and watched AFR as I stabbed the throttle. Honestly it just kinda worked right. But I can see this backfiring hard (no pun intended) if your fuel map is relying too much on O2 feedback because it isn't tuned right yet.

Are you changing dwell based on pressure or load now? Or just dwelling longer all the time? I'm just curious cuz I know longer dwell can also burn out the coils
