    Almost done

    Screenshot 2023-10-22 105622.png

I've got some 16 gauge left from the shelf I made myself yesterday, thinking I can get maybe 7-9 of them cut out

$10/ea should hit the mark but since he's buying 10 unpainted, could make it $70 total I think

The way the hole on your table lines up with his mouth makes it look like you gave him teeth.
I'm not much of a football fan but that's pretty cool.

Lol you're right about the teeth.

I'm not a football fan either but I will say, I'm surprised at how well it came out :D

Reason being is that I made the drawing to size at about 8" only to run into linking constraint issues - in other words the cuts were too close to each other and are disregarded.

Messing with lead in distances and compensations combined with scaling up the drawing to 10.5" finally allowed me to create my profiles.

But, I'm not making 10.5" sized cut outs so I got some scrap, and used my controller software to scale down to 0.65 -

    20231022_124151.jpg

    The result -

    20231022_130235.jpg

    The best part?

Anyone that does CNC would critique one's lead ins, pierce delays, lead outs, and the sort but at this small of a scale you can't even see several of them -

    20231022_130425.jpg

You'll see one at the top center of the eye, and one at the top right corner of the eyepatch and that's it. People cut larger parts and still have lead ins showing.

Here's the left over between the small gaps -

Critiquing that kind of stuff is for the people that aren't actually making anything to make money. In the real world you just send it with some errors and soda blast it when it's done

    Ha right?

And really this was supposed to just be a tool in my tool belt!

Easy $100, told him I'd have them done by Wed/Thur since I'll have to buy some steel

I mean I really hope they didn't test it with somebody in there. But if they were ballsy enough to after the poor showing it had on the stage I hope they at least took video too

I feel like if they are that sure that it is bullet proof maybe Elon should be sitting in it.

Worked then went to look at that GX (sold) then US GP race was on at 3, which was good, even if ding-dong won again.
