Wisconsin area events- THIS WEEKEND: kayak camping.

Well, I vaguely recall someone mentioning that you need to engage the system periodically or it might not work… It never engaged, so I had to rock it back and forth for 15 minutes to get unstuck. Go figure.

 

And you have to be moving for 4-hi to engage.

Idk, today I was stopped and clicked that button thingy and it went right into 4. I'm guessing that if everything happens to be lined up right, it goes in while stopped, if not, you have to move it a bit.

 

Sounds right. As long as the light isn't flashing, you're good.

Would trying to engage 4wd by putting into neutral help with the actuator powered transfer cases?

 

Not really, what I do when rolling is flip the switch & pop the trans into neutral to get in & out seems seamless that way, no clunk especially out.

 

Hey Guys, just checking in. I've been trying to follow this thread to see if anyone already went or is still coming down to Anderson Toyota this month. I know last year the group came by Rock Cut and I missed it.

 

I don't think anyone from the WI crew went to the Wanderlost Overland event last weekend (unless I'm mistaken). Is there another event coming up?
