If I had a degree, I'd rather be making much more than that.

    Even with no degree.

Yeaaah and I got out of undergrad in the middle of the 2008 recession. Everything was sucky.

My career since has been a fun ride.

Oh yea at that time people with PhDs and 10 years of experience were applying for entry level jobs, so new grads were kinda screwed unless they had a connection somewhere.

Had someone bring me this today. Looks very similar to the computers I worked on for the Texas DOT in their road material/asphalt testing labs. The person swears the PC has been sitting in their office since new and they've never done any drywall stuff near it.

I had to replace two fans that were making awful noises. Which was a common thing to fail in those test labs lol. I've been asked to install an M.2 SSD and dual boot CentOS and Windows 10. Technically not Win 11 compatible with a 6th gen i7.

    yeaaa

Unfortunately I think my options are pretty limited by seat thickness which probably means my comfort is limited too

I had WRX seats for the Tacoma but they were waaaaay too tall

Took Dex to a new doggo park today, met this Siberian Husky/German Shepherd behemoth and they spent a good 20 min duking it out Clash of the Titans style. Dex was covered in so much saliva after he needed a bath

They had this fake rubber pellet pseudo wood chip flooring for the playground next to it that we did afterwards... was watching Sofia for a bit then looked at him and he was chowing down on the stuff like it was kibble. Freakin doofus, made him spit out what I could but hopefully that doesn't mess him up
