    [Rant]So I am flying back home from Sacramento and I am using U.S. Airways. First off there is a delay here for my flight which makes me miss my connecting flight in Phoenix so I am stuck now. Not that Phoenix is a bad place to be stuck because I know there are tons of you on here from Phoenix. I am just kind of pissed because I am supposed to be flying home right now for Christmas. Now I have to waste a perfectly good day here in Phoenix and I don't have a confirmed flight out of here until tomorrow night at 7:55.[End Rant]

    That is super tempting but i kind of want to get home for Christmas...

    I should be flying out today if all goes well. I have a stand-by flight at 11:15am and I am on the top of the list! If I don't get that one then I am here til 7:55pm. They did put me up in a really nice hotel though. The Double Tree Suites. I think that room was bigger than my apartment.

    Sorry to hear you are stuck. I suffered through long delays yesterday too. You probably shouldn't take it out on the airline tho. The weather all the way across the country is messed up. They cant control that. Sorry you lost a day but it looks like they are making it right. Get home and put the travel crap behind you so you can relax and enjoy the holidays.

    U.S. Scare took over America Worst's routes after the merger a year so back and America West's hub was PHX -- yeah it sucks!!! That's our good ol' hub-n-spoke air transportation system for ya! Gotta love it -- one darn delay ripples through the whole darned mess!

    It's the wife's T4R so it's stock
    I hate US Airways -- they're the only airline that flies into my local airport. They have a tendency to loose luggage and never take off / arrive on time... asses...

    To avoid them, I drive to Norfolk or Baltimore to catch my flights... the 2.5ish hour drive is worth it!
