fantastic deal, if that's a diesel Hiace we can reg it in CA. I see these Hiaces putting around town all the time.

 

Totally weird thing to have an opinion on I know... but my grandparents got me a power one when I was a kiddo for colored pencils too and it was an old fashioned (well at the time it was fairly new fangled) Boston 110v AC unit. The faster speed, coupled with not pushing very hard are way better for the soft core of a colored pencil than the battery powered units with their slow speed and heavy pressure which will just keep breaking tips. One of these old looking units is an asset and she probably can't get her finger caught in it anyway since it won't accommodate a #3.

Stayed up waaay too late last night working on a new model. A few beers and tunes, I was in the zone. Drove my van to work so I could sneak a lunch nap but I've got meetings all the way through lunch

Should have this wrapped up tonight but it's coming together nice. A lot more detail than previous cars. Been a fun project!

 

We had that one growing up. What a beast.

 

The sharpener that was awesome at what it did, but awkward to use cause it was loud (especially during test time).

 

I had a really old 4th grade teacher, lady probably should have retired a decade earlier. But she would always get on everyone's case about the pencil sharpener. Like do you want us to write or not?

I don't hate this, I'd drive it around all winter. Just needs a small lift and some better tires. It located in PA, I wonder how the frame looks.

Looks like you might need to repair that gutter a bit too judging by the color of the old wood removed there.

 

The gutter itself is actually fine. It's the nut that holds the tools that was the core issue there.

The tree that was there used to shed leaves and various other debris that, if not cleaned out regularly, would fill up that whole section of rain gutter causing it to overflow in the corner instead of the downpipe. The other related issue is that corner never gets any direct sun on it.

With the tree now gone, things will be much better.

 

So...he decided he wants 20 of them
