    More pics please. I was given one of those years ago with the plan to do exactly what you have done. While I took it out a few times I have never found the time to work on a solution before. I am curious as to other angles to see what the entire brackets look like.

    Oh, those, they are a Toyota roof rack. When I bought the truck way back in 2006 I special ordered the truck. That was one of the options I went for. Pretty rare at the time. Later on I’ve seen them on many tacos. Great racks, they fold in, and make it more aerodynamic if you want. I ran them that way for years then once finally opted for the folded out rack version. You could probably still find them on Toyotas parts list.

    I want to add 2 more USB ports, a qi charger to my 06 taco. just power, no USB data. can I just tap off the car ignition from behind the radio? Or would it overload it or something.
