I got a call from this number today, but I didn't answer and no message was left.

I looked it up on Google and I guess it's some sort of scamming number? Anybody get a call from this number before and know what it's all about?

Yeah sounds like what I've been getting...

About 2 days after getting my new work cell phone (with a new number) I started getting calls leaving really sketchy vm saying stuff like "we have something very important to tell you about your car insurance" or "this is your final notice about your insurance". I tried calling back once to see if I could get someone to get me off their list and and it was just a maze of computer messages and num ber punching all leading to me giving them my SSN or CCN.

I hung up but probably get a call from them about 3 or 4 times a month.

What I don't get is how they got my new cell number before I even made 1 call with it!!!!!

Watch out for scam text messages too. I got 3 recently and the message for the first one was "So, you want sex?" The other 2 were similar. A friend of mine (a guy) got several too and he called to report it. I just deleted them.

I know people have been getting text, about their debit or credit cards
over the limit, or zero debit card balance with
additional amounts, that about to be applied
with a scam number to call back.

I once used an internet to phone texting service to send a text to a
co-worker. lol the text was, your male 2 male profile has been updated !!!
it takes a 5-10 minutes to come thru when he got the text.
his face turned red as hell. I asked what was wrong?
and all i got was, Nothing!!
