also does anyone have a ozone machine? the dealer put something in this to mask the smoke smell. its not the worst ive been around but id like it to be almost gone if i can. currently cleaning it out and ill have to get my steam cleaner at it this weekend

i tried the third gens but man... i just cant seem to like them i found a few manuals and a few autos in a few different trims and variations of cabs but just couldnt do it.

so i found this little 2015 sr5 for 1500 over market (after talking with them) they offered me 36 for my ranger on trade and welp the rest is history now i have an access cab finally! ps. ive wanted one for years even before my double cab.

sorta? more or less like my tacoma was years ago at its best tbh ive learned i dont need crazy armor or 34s.

basically this but no roof rack and no bed rack

us offroad winch mount (already have my winch at home still)
32s (preferable something less aggressive once these tires are gone)
sliders (mainly for steps but also for the mall parking lot so nobody dings my truck lol)
snorkel maybe?(i like the look of em so might do it)
and some lights here and there for camping and such
red surround for the grill
id like to find a trd offroad skidplate for cheap so i have something
6112s up front but keep it at like an inch of lift instead of higher
5160s in the rear? maybe idk i might just do 5100s
idk about leafs thou my truck had dakars so im not sure if i can get by with oem or if id need a add a leaf?
some nicer headlights eventually but waaay down the list lol

bout it tbh doing a more simple truck thats still capable to get around and also tow bikes

 

Maybe the Dakar mediums would work for you?

 

unsure the thing i disliked about the dakar is how much of a rake i got from them..

 

if you are only doing an inch in the front, you dont really need to do anything in the back. you can always do like a 1" block too.

if you do a leaf pack, you'll probably be 2"+, especially if you aren't putting any weight back there.

 

True. Would be a decent amount of rake. Could do what @Shellshock suggested and just do a 1"block

And I've got a couple of factory skid plates here at the shop. Granted the factory plates are only worth it for like gravel and stuff but better than nothing

 

ya i figured a 1" in the rear would be fine and not effect much.
